Meeting Baby A was a pleasure, and she looked gorgeous in every set-up. Most newborn photos are taken before baby is 2 weeks old, but A's parents opted to wait until she was month old for her debut. I can't blame them for wanting to keep her to themselves for a little while! The challenge of a one-month old simply is that they want to stay awake and are more picky about being posed. Baby A was full of smiles as she drifted off, and really liked the heater blowing in her face. Another challenge of this session was that there was absolutely no light available to work with, so I pulled out my trusty back-up lighting right in A's living room and went to town. This session took a bit longer then most, but once A finally fell asleep, we got a good amount of girly set-ups just like Mom wanted, and a military "Shoe shot" by Dad's request. I just loved the squishy cheeks and long hair- one month can really make a difference!
