I was so excited when I agreed to photograph this amazing pair- even with a few reschedules for the twin's healths, I knew our time together would be amazing. I was right.
For this session, I knew I'd need an extra set of arms, and found just what I needed in local photographer Pamela A. Big shoutout for all the help, Pam. Thank you.
Another challenge was going to be the twin's age- most newborn sessions are best before the baby is two weeks old. This is when they sleep the best and tolerate the poses better. Just a few little health issues kept them busy for a few weeks, and they were coming up on a month old when I arrived.
That being said, both of the babies blew me away with their tolerance and laid-back personalities. Their big brother was a handy helper from the second we walked in, Dad stopped in to lend an arm when needed, and Mom was A- May-Zing from the start. I don't know how she is keeping it all running so smoothly, but she prepped the babies perfectly, had 3 happy children, and even had a clean house.
After all she's been thru in the first month of being a Twin Mom, she deserves a huge wall print of her favorite photo. Leave her some comment love and help them get to 50- I'll gift them a gorgeous mounted print to help remember this amazing time in the M. Family. <3
There were so many amazing photos, I thought each twin deserved a storyboard of their very own. Up top, baby girl J weighing in at almost 9 pounds. Underneath, you see baby boy J, the little brother showing his shy side.
Yup. That is a Duck Dynasty set-up. ;) One of my favorite creations from a fantastic vendor. I'm always happy to help vendors by providing their information to parents and other photographers who may want a custom order. Just send me a message anytime! The same amazing vender also made me these great cookies you see below. I thought it would be soooooo fun to recreate the beginning of one of my favorite childhood books--- "If you give a mouse a cookie," & "He will ask you for some milk" Brother got to play shy mouse, and sister had the cheeks to pull off the chunky little cow --- LOVE IT.
I love capturing details. Look at these eyelashes. Sister might be jealous of brother's lashes, on the left, but she's the winner for the perfect pout. Together, these two are going to be unbelievable.
