I loved meeting Brand New Harper and taking her out to a local spot for some amazing photos in the bluebonnets. Perfect for a Texas girl! 

I don't always take newborns outside- the environment has to be just right. Not too hot, not too cold, not too bright or too dark, and safety always comes first. I also have an addiction to McDonald's sweet tea, so this session took place very close to Fort Hood in an empty lot. :) You don't have to drive for hours and hours to find the perfect place- a great photographer will find a location that isn't too far, and that's safe (and legal!) for everybody involved.
